Looking for copy of BPRP nr.6a
Good day
More specifically 'Batalion Podchorążych Rezerwy Piechoty nr. 6a' associated with the red colored bookcover near the bottom of this web link Dar od p. Romana Karola Broszkiewicza.
Not looking for an original just scans or photocopies of its pages. Does anyone have a copy or know of one? I know CAW has no records of the battalion.
Regards
Chris.........
PS the image upload for our sight is not working?

Re: Looking for copy of BPRP nr.6a
Would anyone who is fluent in Polish on this forum know if Centralna Bibloteka Wojskowa at Centralna Biblioteka Wojskowa im. Marsza³ka Józefa Pi³sudskiego might have already scanned and have this document on 'Batalion Podchorążych Rezerwy Piechoty nr. 6a' in their catalog? I can't read Polish and am unsure how to use the search feature or whom to contact.

Re: Looking for copy of BPRP nr.6a
That no one had any commentary on this book was not a problem, never hurts to ask.
We are here to learn and share so here is what I have learned of this dated printing.
This is a one of a kind publication, there are no official records for 6a BPRP at CAW.
Through the kind efforts of a chap in Warsaw who helps with my research I was able
to obtain a few scanned pages and information on the book's content. The book is
scheduled for preservation so hopefully at some point CBW will digitize and make
it available as a pdf or maybe someone like the folks who publish the ZARYS series
will reprint it?
The library has a separate photocopy/scan service which is very expensive.
It's 2.40 zł/page, 3.0 zł/CD for any scanned images.
Here is the content for those who are interested. With many thanks to Janusz.
The content of Rocznik is as follows (translations are approximate and simplified)
a) Photos of Moscicki, Pilsudzki, Fabrycy, head of the infantry division in the War Ministry (name illegible) , Popowicz
b) Józef Pilsudzki as a commander in chief
c) J.P. and the contemporary generation of podchorazy
d) History of 6a BPRP
e) Report on the training of 6a BPRP in the Biedrusk training area near Poznan
f) Cadets (podchorazy") life and the training effort (descriptions of & deliberations on, life in the barracks & training
programme; descriptions of particular training subjects)
g) Methods of inspiring social and military spirit in the Baon
h) Ideas and targets of today's generation
i) J.P. sport grounds in Rawa Ruska
j) 6a BPRP's tribute to the Beloved Commander-in-Chief
k) Information about "Gawedy Podchorazych"
l) Caricatures
m) Anniversaries, spectacles, celebrations and entertainment
n) Our library
o) The society and the state facing a future war
p) Paramilitary training and the problem of border defence
q) sport in 6a BPRP
r) Sulejówek-Belweder march
s) Commanders of the 1, 2, 3 and machine-gun company (short biographical notes)
t) Kiev campaign (1920)
u) Humour
v) 6a BPRP rules and regulations
w) Statistical data and allocation to regiments (course graduation list)
Hope this is of interest to people.
