    Hello Alexandr,

Your question is one that you should be able to easily answer by examining the good examples posted on this thread. What you have pictured is a genuine cross with crudely replaced suspension ring. Here's a side by side to an original suspension:

The star is a strange post war version or more likely an outright copy. Compare to the genuine pre-war star in post #11.

    Tony

Thank you Tony for your answer.
A star is a copy. A cross does not look like the known types. Therefore there were doubts.
    Best regards,

You’re welcome Alexandr. As mentioned, it seems to me that the cross itself appears OK, save for the suspension ring.

Hello FerRReR, and welcome to the forum. My temptation is to say the V Class is a Gontarczyk, as it bears familiar details and he was the most prolific producer of these. Pictured below is a 4th Class attributed to Mr. Gontarczyk. Unfortunately there is little reliable information pre-WW2 production.

I cannot say conclusively (due to total absence of any literature on the subject) but this one may be of French origin as is does have a similar ribbon ring and connector to those found on crosses made in The Land of the Franks.

    Tony
