Polish designations for military handgun cartridges?
I'm beginning an article on the military handgun cartridges used by Poland and was wondering if anyone can tell the official designations (in Polish of course) for the following cartridge that I ascertained they used. If there were others I'd be very interested in knowing which ones.
- 7.62mm Nagant revolver
- 8mm Roth-Steyr
- 8mm Gasser revolver
- 9mm Steyr
- 7.63x25 Mauser
- 9mm Patrone 08 (9mm Parabellum/Luger)
- 8mm Mle. 1892 d'Ordannance (8x27R French "Lebel" revolver)
- 7.65mm Browning (.32 ACP)
- 9mm Browning Short (.380 ACP)
- 7.62x25 Tokarev
- 9mm Makarov
- 9mm NATO
I'm also searching for photos of Polish troops (1918 - present) armed with handguns (even if they're holstered).
Many thanks.
