    Default Polish Tinnie

I have a Polish tinnie with stick pin, dark grey in colour with a crowned Polish eagle on it. Inscribed with the words 'ojczyzne wolna pobloc oslaw panie' around the sides and bottom and '31/X - 1918' on the top. About 1 inch or 30mm in diameter.

    Polish Tinnie

Anyone recognize this tinnie? Any information about it? Thanks.

Added: A quick Google search produced 31 X 1918 as the date of the end of the Austro Hungarian Empire and Google Translate gave 'Free Country Bless' (Bless Our Free Country?) for the Polish inscription.

The inscription is "Ojczyznę wolną pobłogosław Panie" (you cut "poblogoslaw" in two parts). Correct translation: "God bless our free country" (literally "Fatherland").

I prefer the translation as "Fatherland" as it seems to convey the message with more gravitas
    I collect, therefore I am.
