POW Camp Money from Oflags for Polish Officers

Hello,

I have already shown these bills in a thread about III. Reich related money, but they are for sure also interesting for collectors of Polish militaria. All these paper money are in Polish language, and were issued for use by imprisoned officers and soldiers only, in each Oflag separatly. Printed and issued by Polish officers - not by German authorities, but with their permission. Money of Oflag II C Woldenberg, Oflag Gross Bron and Oflag VII A Murnau are known.

And the camp money of Oflag II D in Gross Born (today Dobiegniew in Poland). These are different beacuse denominated in Groszy and Piast, not in German mark. Notes are uniface, with control stamp and fascimile signatures on face.
