    Well, Tony, your badge is unusual. The eagle is rather rare. As a matter of fact I've never seen badge like yours, alas it is common badge.

    Here's two more (also from closed auctions), which appear to be the same maker as yours - one with a variation in the mounting post and the other with a 'rivet style' of holding the eagle in place.

    Bulak-Balachowicz Cross of Merit. I have found those at Russian "Allegro". Very, very pricy

    Here is a document for 4 Pulk Piechoty Legionow. (4th Legions Infantry Regiment)
    Previous owner had glued it onto a hard piece of paper.
    Fairly rare document signed by General Boleslaw Roja who died in Sachsenhausen concentration camp in 1940. Gen Roja is often praised for his personal bravery by his subordinates, he had two horses killed underneath him during battle of Molotkowo.

    Comrade in arms corporal Franciszek Balzar for bravery and in remembrance of battles of Polish Legions in years 1916-1918 i bestow upon You a swastika badge 2nd class.
