Pre-war Uniforms thread!

Hey Charles,
The book is Polski mundur wojskowy 1918-1939 / Henryk Wielecki (Ive seen 2 versions not sure whats the diffrence?) 1 goes for 50-100 pln while the other I seen go for almost 300 pln!

It can be confusing as both books that have similar titles, and by the same primary author. One of them is essentially a photo book of Polish military uniforms from the 17th century until just after WW2 whereas the other is a detailed study of the various uniforms and their components during the 2nd Republic era. Both books are well worth owning.

Are the uniforms pictured in the book orginal?
But anyway I wish I was the proud owner of the rare wz.17 officers uniform and wz.19 rogatywka shown in the book!

Heres a rare barely faded wz.36 drelich uniform,They were originaly a tea green color like this one,but when they were kept in depots they faded into a yellowish color!

I'd like to have a copy of each but I don't have a method to purchase these from Poland. I saw a copy on ebay but the price seemed too high.

I have my copy coming from a guy who purchased it from a company called Hero Collection which sews uniforms for all sorts of movies.
Im a member of alot of Polish reenacting forums so Ill keep an eye out for you,I can guarantee Ill find you one.

Theres are a few companies/people selling these uniforms,They accept Western Union money transfers and money sent from your bank account to theres,If you want I can get you in contact with them

Also,Are you looking for a Letni (Drelich) mundur or a wool (Sukno) mundur?I know a company sewing wool wz.36`s for $170 its easy to get in contact with them and they accept western union

I think the uniform you seen on ebay was a post-war KBW uniform,Its a bad copy as it has 5 buttons instead of 7 and a couple of other problems.It was expensive as on Allegro.pl they go for 40 pln while that one went for $70!
