Yes I know that General Czuma was awarded the Gold Cross during the September 1939 Campaign Cross Nr : 112 for the Defence of Warsaw, I was just posting those recipients awarded the Cross during 1914-1921.

Another Legitymacja that I found whilst surfing this week :



St,Szer. Bronisław Rusin, 12PP Virtuti Militari Numbered : 2677, 1933 Legitymacja not filled in or stamped.

Hello Everyone,

I came across the following Legitymacja's whilst surfing yesterday :



Virtuti Militari Silver Cross awarded to Pplk Antoni Tomasz Świerzy, he was born on the 2nd January 1898 served in the Artillery of the 2nd Republic including 6PAP he was awarded the KW x 2 for the wars of Independence 1918-1921 and the SKZ. In 1940 he was commanding the Armoured Trains manned by Polish Officers in the UK, he was transferred to the Middle East in 1942 and was the Commanding Officer of 9PAC at the Battle of Monte Cassino being awarded the Monte Cassino Cross Numbered : 33096.

After the end of the war he came to the UK and settled in Nottinghamshire, where he died on the 20th December 1955 and was buried on the 24th December 1955.

Whilst surfing I found the following Virtuti Militari Legitymacja,



Virtuti Militari Silver Cross Legitymacja Numbered : 12346

awarded to Kapitan Lucjan Kintoff, the date on the Legitymacja is the 14th January 1960.

A better image along with the issue cross awarded to Skibinski by General Maczek. The cross is a Grupa Techniczna product.
