    Hello,

This is an exceptional example that survived from 1939.

It reached 12 100,00 zł by the end of the auction.

The scratches and rub marks on the top probably have an interesting story to tell, a hurried bail out or maybe when it was put down on its top before and after missions.

It was only because of the extremely large size, I did not try to win it (I am about 56cm).

The seller thinks it was worn by ŁOŚ (fighter) and KARAŚ (light bomber) crews.

    Here are its pictures.

I will be extremely interested to read your comments.

I've seen that auction. Helmet looked very good for me, they are very rare items ... in last decade i've noticed around 4-5 of them available to buy ... Btw. Łoś was bomber not a fighter

Thanks for the post Justin. I didn't see this auction. Quite a price! Very interesting and rarely seen piece.

    Regards,
    Tony
