Hi,
i would like some help on identifying the period of production of this Virtuti Militari.
I believe this is original (am i right???), but probably a post WW2 example.
Can anyone bring some info about this one???
regards,
Fábio

Hi Fábio,
I do not collect post war communist era and as such am not at all knowledgeable in the LWP / PRL VM's. But I can offer is that it is most likely post 1960. From my observations it seems that the majority of post WW2 government issue crosses did not use the twin ring suspension, but rather one ring that passed through a wire 'prong' formed into a loop. Although this could be an official issue cross it could just as easily be a jeweler's copy produced as a replacement cross. Let's hope we get some more input from a collector experienced in this area so we can both learn somethng.
Regards,
Tony
