Polish Air force? cap eagle.
Article about: Picked this up in Krakow last week, i'm guessing it's air force due to the blue/grey colour, but i've not found anything the same on line. The nearest to the eagle i can find is on a border

The Eagle is PRL (Polish Peoples Republic) so from 1945-1989.
Not my forte, hope it helps no doubt someone will chime in with an opinion.

Looks similar to a Polish Generals Collar Eagle (1961-73)
Not my area but thats what the books says.

This is the nearest i can find to my eagle in shape and design (the distinctive tail feathers)
it's described as "Milicja Obywatelska" so Police?.....
