What kind of Helmet is this?

Shell seems to be a Ssh39 but the liner looks strange, not to mention the "decal". Looks Polish to me. Opinions much appreciated

Either Polish wz.50 or maybe Polish refurbished Soviet helmet. Poland exported many helmets to the middle east.

I was also told it's a Polish helmet. It seems to have been painted quite few times. Can you say anything about price range on such a helmet?

$50 would be my guess - you can still find them in mint condition with dome stamps for about $100.

Polish VZ50, with eagle of the first type.

Often transformed into Ssh39.

The liner is WW2 Italian I think mate. It must be wartime used though as the eagle seems to have a crown, and uncle Joe was not a huge fan of royalty post war
