    MCC 42880 was awarded to: St. Sierzant Antoni Paziewicz, Born 1900, Army Nr (Also found on His ID Tags): 1900-83-III, Unit 3rd Military Hospital

    MCC 42998 was awarded to: Siostra.sal. Stanislawa Kruk, Born 1910. Army Nr (Also found on Her ID Tags): 1910-265-III, Unit 3rd Military Hospital

    MCC 3561 was awarded to: Strzelec Michal Cisinski, Born 1910, Army Nr (also found on His ID Tags): 1910-22-III, Unit 2BSK ended the war in 1BSK

    MCC 8670 was awarded to : Kanonier Romuald Mochort, Born 7th December 1924 in Mir, killed 15th January 1945 Buried in Taranto Cemetery, Italy, Army Nr: 1924-10-III, Unit 3KPAPL

    MCC 25635 was awarded to St.Saper Edward Maruszczyk, Fathers Name: Wilhelm, Born 1904 Army Nr: 1904-108-III Unit 5th Kresowa Division Engineers. he was a pre war soldier arrested in Kowel on the 29th September 1939 and joined the Anders Army at Tockoje on the 2nd September 1941.

    May I be the first to welcome you to the Forum.

    Your Grandfather Bombadier (Lance Corporal) Eugeniusz Dobrodumow was born in the 10th November 1905 the Son of Antoni Dobrodumow, your Grandfather was arrested in 1940 by the NKVD.

    There is no record of the date when he joined the Anders Army in 1941, when he was serving in the 3rd Carpathian Rifle Division he served with the 3KPAPL and then 1KPAL.

    After the end of the war he came to the Uk where he married Joan C Haigh in 1951 in Worth Valley in Yorkshire they had children Henek E and Christine S. Eugeniusz died in 1982 his death being registered in Staincliffe, Yorkshire.

    Has you will have seen I have been collecting Polish Militaria since the 1970's and have mainly collected Monte Cassino Crosses, your Grandfathers Cross I purchased from a Medal Dealer back on the 1980's.

    I have had it ever since.

    Sorry that I cannot provide you with any further information on your Grandfather.

    Date of Birth: 1903

    Army Number: (also found on His ID Tags): 1903-97-III

    The only Michal Makiedo I found Died in London in 1960.

    Rank: Pancerny (Tankman)

    Surname: OSZEJCZYK

    Christian Name: BRONISLAW

    Date of Birth: 1905

    Fathers Name: MICHAL

    Army Number: (also found on His ID Tags): 1905-11-III

    Unit: Headquarters Squadron 4th Armoured Regiment

    Bronislaw was captured by the soviets on the 18th September 1939 at Dziatlowo and joined the Anders Army at Tockoje on the 2nd September 1941.

    MCC 36872 was awarded to:

    Rank: Kapral (Corporal)

    Surname: JEZIORNY

    Christian Name: FRANCISZEK

    Date of Birth: 1914

    Army Number: (also found on His ID Tags): 1914-144-III
