Hello Andrzej
Just passing along an expression of gratitude from Jan Kon's daughter.
Chris.....
Here's what she sent:
"Hi Andrzej,
Thank you so much for the information for which I am grateful. My fathers path was a complex one and I wished I had listened more intently as a child! I have his medal but I think all documentation has unfortunately been destroyed. Once again, thank you.
Kind Regards
Rose Kon-Corbett"

Hi Andrzej,
Need your help again.
Could you be so kind to share the information about the MCC # for LUTOKHIN ISAI AKIMOVICH (born in 1914)? I translated his name from russian so variants are possible. I guess he served in 5 KDP.
Thank you in advance!
Hello artee1986,
A needle in a haystack, but here goes, I have found the following soldiers from 5KDP born in 1914:
1) Marian Adrian
2) Bronislaw Augustynowicz
3) Ryszard Alwinger
4) Franciszek Aksamit
5) Ryszard Achtelik
6) Jan Arzaniewicz
7) Jan Adamski
8) Franciszek Augustyn
9) Jozef Adamowicz
10) Wladyslaw Albin
11) Aleksander Antonczyk
12) Aleksander Alsilicz
13) Karol Adamski
14) Zygmunt Antczak
Unfortunately I do not speak russian, so would not be able to help with the translation, perhaps one of the forums members might be able to translate any information that you have.
best wishes
Andrzej
Hello artee1986,
I have checked 3DSK also and looked through Polish soldiers killed in ww2 also with no joy, the MCC List has the following names:
Kpr. Mieczyslaw AKIELAN
Kpr. JAN AKIMOW
Strzelec Jan AKONOM
Kpr. Franciszek AKSAMIT
Unless he enlisted under an assumed name ?
Best wishes
Andrzej
