(Sadly) these medals are in a museum in the USA, so they have labelled them wrongly!

Found the following whilst surfing the other day,
Disabled Ex-Servicemen ID Card belonging to Aleksander Wojnicz
Awarded Monte Cassino Cross Nr: 13780, Army Nr: 1902-36-III, Transport and Supply 3DSK.
After the end of the war he came to the UK and after being demobbed from the PRC decided to live in the Displaced Persons Camp in Gloucestershire either Springhill or Northwick Park, in 1962 he married Anna Podnifszczanska (born in 1906), Anna died on the 10th September 1984 and Aleksander died on the 16th January 1994. Both are buried in the cemetery at Blockley in Gloucestershire.

,,Lieutenant Józef Wyrzykowski. In 1939, a gunner in 76 Infantry Regiment Grodno - (Defensive War in Poland, Battle in Milejewo, in defense of the Regiment Banner ). October 30, 1939 deported forced into the depths of Russia. In 1942, he joined the Polish Army in Russia under the command of General Anders. He fights at Monte Cassino in the 10th Heavy Artillery Regiment. In 1947 he returns to Poland".
