Nothing found in the London Gazette but found a Peter Wilk born 1924 died in Leigh in Lancashire in 1977, that is all.

How the vendors Father got it in his possession is unknown. Oddly enough, he did fight at Cassino. But he was a Yorkshireman!

Ps.:Tomorrow I go to the Zalewski's family,his daughter called me and they have three ID cards and photos yet. I have a question about whether Zalewski's wife will get free ZESZYT EWIDENCYJNY from MoD?

Hello Artur,

Many thanks for your post, his wife being married to him at the time of death will not be charged for requesting copies of documents, but the British M-o-D will require proof eg. photocopies of Marriage certificate and photocopy of Death certificate.

Two ZALEWSKI'S daughters open the door...They showed me three more documents.
I showed my collection PSZ and two MCC.My KW is a 1992 model on the PSZ ribbon.
