After much digging via my uncle, I have managed to find a number relating to my grandfather who fought at Monte Casino
Could someone help me by finding any details if possible on medal number 14125?
We know very little apart from his inprisonment in Russia and participation in monte casino, so hoping this will
Lead us to a few more bits of info on him.

May I be the first to welcome you to the War Relics Forum, the recipient of the Monte Cassino Cross Numbered : 14125 when awarded his details were as follows :
Rank : Strzelec (Rifleman)
Surname : Wolski
Christian Name : Józef
Date of Birth : 1917
Army Number : (also found on His ID tags) : 1917-112-III
Unit : 6BSK (6 Batalion Strzelców Karpackich) (6th Carpathian Rifle Battalion, 2nd Carpathian Rifle Brigade, 3rd Carpathian Rifle Division).
By the end of the war he was still a Strzelec (Rifleman), he would have also received the following Polish Medals and Badges,
Medal Wojska obverse
3rd Carpathian Rifle Division Badge
6BSK Beret Badge
2nd Corps Badge
British Awards :
1939-1945 Star
Italy Star
1939-1945 Defence Medal obverse
1939-1945 War Medal obverse (if he qualified for it)

I believe in leaving the best to last, so to speak, whilst surfing I came across the following which I found on the internet :
Kapral pdchr. (Corporal / Officer Cadet) (Later Podporucznik / 2nd Lieutenant) Antoni Jerzy Januszewicz, 6BSK, VM Nr : 10872, KW x 2, MCC Nr : 5972.
Born in Wilno on the 5th or 15th March 1921, he was killed in action on the 22nd November 1944 and was buried in the Polish Cemetery at Loreto, Grave Nr : 7-B-2, next to his Brother Jan.
St.Strz. Jan Januszewicz, 24KT, MCC Nr : 44893.
Born in Warsaw on the 26th April 1919, he was killed in action on the 22nd July 1944 whilst serving in the 15BS (15th Rifle Battalion, 5KDP). He was buried in the Polish War Cemetery at Loreto in Grave Nr : 7-B-1.
Antoni & Jan Januszewicz's graves at Loreto Polish War Cemetery, take a look at the crosses that mark their graves and you will notice that they died 4 months apart. (although the PISM book that lists those killed during the war states that Jan was killed on the 23rd July).
