    Hello Everyone,

I have today come across something of interest an incorrect date of birth for an Officer of 3DSK in the Register of the Monte Cassino Cross what made this more interesting was there was no Army Number also.

His date of birth was typed as 1910, when in reality it was 1914.

The Officer in question was Kapitan Ludwik Franciszek Ziemski

    Monte Cassino cross

Kapitan Ludwik Franciszek Ziemski KW, SKZzM, MW.

    Monte Cassino cross

Kapitan Ludwik Franciszek Ziemski leading his Company of 7BSK in march past a General taking the salute either Anders or Bohusz-Szyszko or Duch.

    Por.Ludwik Franciszek Ziemski was born on the 9th August 1914, Army Number : 1914-201-III, UNit : 1BSK, MCC Numbered : 2028.

Later promoted to Kapitan and awarded the KW x 2 and the SKZzM, MW. etc.

He and his wife died on the same day 5th July 1990 in Canada
