Surname : Fudel

Christian Name : Marian

Date of Birth : 10th April 1926

Army Number : 1926-8-III

Unit : 3KBLacz.

His Father Józef was a St.Post. of the Polish Police Force in Tarnopol in 1939, captured by the soviets, he was shot by the NKVD in 1940 and his remains where found in Miednoje.

Marian Fudel born on the 10th April 1926 took part in the Battles for Monte Cassino, Ancona and Bologna and survived the war he had just celebrated his 90th Birthday when on the 26th June 2016 he died.

Ppor. Władysław Jagiełło, Born 25th October 1912, Army Number : 1912-111-III, OC 1st Company 3BSK, Killed in Action 21st November 1944, Monte Cassino Cross Numbered : 1410, by the time he was killed he had been promoted to Por and awarded the Silver Cross Virtuti Militari numbered 8570.

Ppor. Teofil Puchalski, Born 16th April 1917, Army Number : 1917-5-III, Unit : 5BSK, Monte Cassino Cross Numbered : 1748, by the end of the war he had been awarded the KW.

Ppor. Ireniusz Dedeszko-Wierciński, Born 16th December 1924, Army Number : 1924-45-III, Unit : 17BS, Monte Cassino Cross Numbered : 18654, (awarded when a St.Strz.) by the end of the war in Europe he had also received the KW. Died 1st October 2001 in Thanet with Dover, Kent.

Many thanks for your post, with the PISM closed until further notice there is no way of informing the staff that their server is having some technical issue's with some documents.

Konrad, I think PISM website was in the middle of a reorganisation when they had to close. Some archive pages have pdfs that can be downloaded and some do not. Very few seem to have the same URLs that they had last year.
