Para Patki with Supply Backings

Article about: Good day folks I'd like your comments on these please. They appear to be uniform removed but the backings are polygon rather than kite shaped. Is that a red flag? What about the parachutes t

good news indeed. my first thought was to book a ticket on the Flying Scotsman and go up the East Coast line. however, seeing that the Scots wish to become INDEPENDENT severing their ties with the rest of the UK and drift off into to the North Sea joining the Federal States of Europe ( how does that work ) the trip probably wouldn't be fruitful. as mentioned in my earlier musings there was a caveat with the GR Tech connection . the surmisation ( more conjecture than guess ) being from the comment ' the Poles in London supplied us with their dies ', plural. in view of the fact that two variations of the device exist , two and two make five ! when you do the book, don't do it only in bloody Polish !
    Hi Prosty Zolnierz,
I don't want to refer to your "travel plans" but want to ask for the comment that "the Poles in London supplied us with their dies" - did you hear it from person who dealt with this situation during the war or was involved in production of collar badges? Or maybe it was somebody younger who heared this info in the firm?
Are you sure that this information reffers to Polish para collar badges?

Regarding a book - for sure it will be in Polish with English summary. Maybe next step would be English edition but you know - translation, costs, time ...
    But I'd like to!

One more thing - do you have any access to archive of K&S - orders, correspondence, etc from WW2 period (if it exists)?

unfortunately not from a ' wartime horses mouth '. a case of two different collar devices, two dies, possible initial London manufacture ? then Scotland manufacture. so, Parachute badge, yes, collar badge, errrrrrr ! not the definite statement for a book, howlers have been committed in the past.

Owner of these badges in pictures is not certain of their originality. Please estimate them...

An unusual version that I haven't seen before. Almost appear to be a 'workshop' variant. Let's see what Rafal Niedziela has to say.

    Hi Guys,

I don't like the patches at all starting from parachutists.
Never seen this before but for me it doesn't look reliable.
Also the material - both cloth parts seems to be glued together?
    And finally the holes!
    Terrible!
