Polish AB64 Soldier's Service and Pay Book with unusual description
Hello,
Here's an AB64 Soldier's and Pay Book from my collection that belonged to a Polish soldier. Porozynski Zygfryd. Army number: 42850/45/I. In my humble opinion, unusual book as he appears to have enlisted with a false name which has been corrected. Unusual description
"Corrected pseudonym into the true Surname and Christian-name. Officer in Charge"
Escaped german service and joined the Free Polish Army in the West after Monte Casino battle? I couldn't find information regarding polish soldier war records, service records. Nothing to be honest. Blank pages in AB64:4,5,6,7,10,11,15,16,17,18,20
Please find the photos. I would greatly appreciate hearing your opinion on this.Thank you
Thank you for your comment. With all due respect, 2nd Polish Corps and 87th Infantry Regiment of the Friuli Combat Group liberated Bologne on 21 April 1945.

Hi Alex,
Poles used to joke that Wehrmacht liberated Bologne. Do you know how many Wehrmaht POWs of Polish descent joined the 2nd Polish Corps? Check it out
Hi Kosa, Again, thank you for your comment. I heard about that joke. This joke came from one of the 2nd Polish Corps veteran 'It was Wehrmacht itself who conquered Bologna for the 2nd Corps' . Personally, I would prefer to say 2nd Polish Corps liberated Bologna. I am old school
