Polish Armoured Corps Beret: Druga Brygada Pancerna?

A recent purchase. A lovely RAC Beret badged to a Second Lieutenant of a Polish Armoured Formation, either a Pulk Pancerny or a Cavalry Regiment. I guess that he could have belonged to the Druga Brygada Pancerna, later Druga Warszawska Dywizja Pancerna, because of the bullion rank bar, most likely of Italian production. The black RAC beret is marked Supak Manufacturing Co Ltd (mark: no capital letters), dated 1944 and of a comfortable large size: 7 3/8. What's your opinion, Panowie?

Thanks for posting your new beret. One of the lesser known wartime beret makers. The rank is corporal, not lieutenant. The "pancerne" regiments followed the pre-WW2 cavalry traditions, so they are essentially one and the same, with horses having been exchanged for tanks.
