Polish eagle -from the canteen?

Prabably aluminium, about 30cm high, front-painted gold.
Age or modern copy?

I would suspect an aluminium cast painted to look like either gilt or bronze to most probably be a modern copy ..

Also, the detail looks to be poor on the item.
