Polish forced worker metal identity card for Fabrik Herzberg Gmbh. Quite unusual as the card is overstamped with the Polish forced worker <P> symbol.

The company WWII Fabrik Herzberg Gmbh which made metal sheet products still exists and is called Mage Herzberg Gmbh a large multi-national headquatered in Herzberg, Germany and still making metal products!

How fascinating to learn—I always thought it was a bear

The photo studio portrait is marked:

    Photo Ruth
    Bahnhostr. 5
    Buchloe

Which is near(ish) to Munich. I wonder if C. Mampe had a factory in Munich as well as Berlin?

Was the Mampe "Halb und Halb" elephant charm you spotted a advertsing piece?
