Would it be possible to see the reverse fixings of these badges? What do the colours signify... workers nationality, work unit or...? These look ground-dug from factory site ???

German webpage about KZ-Außenlager Zittau – die „Zittwerke“

KZ-Außenlager Zittau "Zittwerke" existed from 28.10.1944 - 07.05.1945 (formerly Großporitsch) in Porajow. This was a front company of the Junkers aircraft and engine Werke AG.

Some great photos of Zittwerke site today

An unusual little "P" badge I recently picked up, 22 mm x 15 mm approx, hand-made metal of some kind with broken pin fixing.

The first thing that comes into my mind, must be the veldings- It should be possible to find out if the metal is velded for 70years ago.?! For sure they must have been used other techniques back then, compared to the velding rods etc, of the last 30- 40years or so?

Two more forced workers barrack photographs. In the lower photo the men are celebrating Christmas, there is a decorated Christmas tree in the top background behind the men.
