would it be possible to see a photo of that plastic eagle taken in the sunlight..to see the colour under natural conditions?
very unusual one, though I dont think it would be 10th Hussars, as none of the specialized gooks on them mention something like it.
    look forward to the photos!!

    John,
The only ones I've come across with the 1SBS are the silvered type.

    Regards

Hello Gary. I see a forum a few friends. This is an interesting forum.

    ------------------

Eagle color is exactly as pictured golden.
Awers side is exactly the same as the eagles in silver.
Please see the reverse side - is a little different - the broad arrow and the sign manufacturer to another place, and sign 1-A.
This eagle was sent to me many years ago directly from the company Alfred Stanley & Sons Ltd, Walsall.
This eagle was found in the warehouse. Probably the original dies were sent to the ministry of war after the war.

This type was certainly not used in 1SBS.

Very unusual variant. Never seen one like it. And not mentioned in the Zawistowski book on exile eagles, which is the most thorough reference. Here’s a side by side comparison to the well known Stanley & Sons version.
