Polish Hat Eagles

Article about: In my opinion this particular cap eagle was made by G.J. Garratt Toronto. Very unique, hard to find.

    Fellows,
    you may have seen this.
A very nice set sold a couple of weeks ago.
Included were 2 rare Eagles - variants discussed before.
I particularly like - the casted 40mm one, "without the Shield of Pilsudski's Legions".
2nd one - "brown" - is superb too!

It’s reasonable to suspect that this was produced for veterans. The polished nickel finish is similar to the “SWAP” eagle, also produced by W&HCo for veterans, likely sometime 1930’s-50’s:

    Fellows,
Seems like a reasonably deceptive repo(s) of this P&B Eagle are surfacing on the market - sadly!
