Fellows,
And one more - very rare variant of 40mm Eagle - similar to 40mm Guant's and Spink's variants - but with some material difference's.
I do not have 100% confirmation yet - but some circumstantial evidence suggest that this Variant was made by the famous UK maker Toye (Toye, Kenning & Spencer’s, nowadays)
Some more on this Eagle - on page 196 - posts 1952 / 54
Fellows,
Excellent pictures of the super rare PL Navy Eagle - before 39.
Early one, almost not seen on the market - recently sold in PL.
Excellent Eagle - does not get much more than this one!
I will most likely never be able to find one!
Probably lead, very soft. Middle East?
