Hi ccj, it is a nice original tunic. Well worth trying to research.

I suspect the second woven label might be from a modern "fancy dress" hire shop. Back in the 1980's/90's there were still good wartime uniforms to be found in these places.

I am buying this set this week and hope to obtain a nice pair of collar tabs and such to restore the tunic and display in my room.

Hopefully I do get help form a member so i don't get ripped off.

Well done! Please keep us all posted via this thread how your project is progressing. And be sure to use the 'sticky’ thread at the top of this forum to post any possible parts acquisitions via internet auctions to get the opinion of the experts here.
