Here is an interesting little group found by an antique picker last year out of a house. Unfortunately he did not bother to find out any history or background on the items and simply purchased it along with the house contents of old furnishings and other antiques. The navy officers cap badge is till attached to the mohair band and the small single star that would have been on the cap's chinstrap is present. The cuff rank braid along with the ribbons was also removed from a reefer tunic. Not sure how the Army beret patch got there, but it was with this insignia along with navy buttons. This must have all been saved for memory and posterity. If these items could only talk.....Polish Navy in ExilePolish Navy in ExilePolish Navy in Exile

Default Stanislaw Drozdowski Polish Navy Surgeon Capitan

    Dear Fellows,

I have managed to get some more documents on this Polish Ships Doctor who served on ORP Kujawiak, Slazak and Byskawica. I have managed to get some navy messages which would have been sent back to HQ. The are lists of people who were killed or injured but its difficult to find out on which ship or context they were involved with. Perhaps someone with an historical expertise in the Polish Navy can read the messages and enlighten me more!!
