Yes,
The wreath comes from the group to be known as unissued. Looks OK.
This combination doesn't increase the value. In this case it's better to have separate badge and wreath.

Thank you Rafał.
Do you know what is the number range awarded to the Polish No.10 Troop Commando?
Regards
Tomek
You're welcome Tomek.
6th Troop 10th IA Commando didn't have parachute training. There were several soldiers with para badge in the coy. They were para trained within 2nd Bn 1st Rifles Bde before Polish Commando was established.
First idea was to create Para Brigade based on 1st Rifles Brigade. Approx. company size was para trained. Later most of them joined 1st Parachute Brigade.
Thanks for the explanation, that would explain why I've seen some commandos wearing a para badge on some pics.
Cheers
Tomek
Hello,
If this badge is original, why threaded post appears thicker and looks like one on Gaunt's PAF pilot badge?
Looks like late production Kirkwood. Need to see what's under spinner.... possibly old post broke off and someone replaced it.. badge looks ok, heavy wear from polish...
Why do you think so? I think the post is standard one used by Kirkwood.
Can you guys shed some light on badge # 1494 ?
