    Hello Kosa,

I have a pair of these that I purchased over 30 years ago, you would not believe what I paid for them, also a 2DSP Badge bought from Spink and son for the same price I purchased the Collar Badges for.

The last time a pair of them was up for sale they went for an awful lot of money.

    Best wishes

    Andrzej

Default Polish 1st Motorised Artillery Regiment

    Dear Fellows.

Recently sold badge on ebay, I wondered if the badge was original it looks like an officers badge for the Polish 1st Motorised Artillery Regiment. These badges were made by the German firm Steinhauer of Lüdenscheid. I believed that officers badges were enameled with white inlay. This badge seems to be painted white. I wonder if this badge is indeed an original. I would welcome members opinion.

It may look like white paint in the photos, but this is the remnants of the original frosted silver finish that tended to wear in this characteristic ‘spotty’ manner. A perfectly genuine example.

    Regards,
    Tony
