Hi again Hobbymoje,
First off, this is a Polish 2nd Republic era badge, so should be addressed in the pre-war section of this forum.
Both the Wielecki/Sieradzki and the Filipow references state that this badge was officially produced in a one piece non enameled version only. This is also reflected in the Sawicki reference you posted. So while it is a nice looking badge, unfortunately it is not genuine.
Regards,
Tony

Hello Tony,
Thank you for your valuable input and conclusion based on your references. I will do more research just to see why would the mueum in poland (Kolobrzek) that I visited, referenced a non-genuine badge of the 14 PP. If I find some answers, I will let you know.
Thanks a lot again.
Hi Hobbymoje,
You're most welcome. As far as museums getting facts wrong, please believe me that this is not out of the ordinary. But then again, no one can know everything about everything. Time and again I have found that the greatest level of knowledge is contained in the ranks of the passionate collectors, such as those that frequent sites like this one.
Please keep us posted with your progress.
Regards,
Tony

I do nor remember if we have ever discussed this Badge JWSW 44 – 47 on the Forum.
I have been researching it a bit and looks like it was mainly given to the Cadets / School for minors
However, I have not managed to get to the actual confirmation in documents on statistics / manufacturer etc
Has anybody got picture of
• it being on the uniform / battle dress etc?
• pictures of an ID
I am keen to learn more about it
I will - Thanks Tony.

Finally I had some time to browse my old pictures from visit at at the Sikorski’s Institute last summer
I think they are worth presenting – there is a considerable knowledge to be obtained from looking at them.
