SS Lancastria. The sinking of the troopship Lancastria at St Nazaire in 1940 was Britain's worst ever maritime disaster.

Bombed by a Junkers Ju 88, between 4000-6000 British troops and personnel were lost when the SS Lancastria was sunk.

Anyone know what motorcycle model was used by the Poles in France?

That's odd - the AT gun, which has wheels, is sitting atop a trailer. Anyone know why?

It looks like it might be on a special sidecar, though I probably don't know what I am talking about.

Could be? Or is it towed by the truck? If a sidecar I'd like to see more pics of that. Organic AT capability for a motorcycle unit?
