Cross of Valour is for bravery in combat and Army Service Medal is distinguished service

The other medals and miniatures are British and French and possibly Dutch and Belgian.
Quick search for WWII medals would help you id all of them rather quickly.

The documents are issue documents for the Cross of Valour and badges. The booklet is about 1st Armored Divisions history from Caen to the end of WWII.
