    Hi Guys, I took these pics a few years ago when I was down at the RAF Museum, Hendon, London.

    I thought you might like to see them.

    You can also educate me on what they all are! I only really know the British ones and the VM.

    2nd one in is the Cross of Valour with three bars.
    3rd is the Polish Airforce war service medal.
    The other medals look possibly French ?.

    Thanks Guys.

    Usually at museums the awards on display will be the originals. Except in cases of the Victoria Cross; these are not usually on display, being kept in a safe, so these are usually replicas on public show.

    The first medal on the left is the Viatuti Militari the Polish version of the VC. My father was also awarded this by the Polish Government (London), whike he served in the PAF.

    1) Virtuti Militari reverse Numbered : 9615

    2) Cross of Valour with 3 Bars (denoting 4 awards)

    3) Air Force Medal with 2 Bars.

    French

    4) Combatants Cross

    5) Commemorative Medal for Voluntary Service in Free France

    6) 1939-1945 Commemorative War Medal with Bar Liberation

    7) Medal of Liberated France.

    British

    8) Distinguished Flying Cross

    9) 1939-1945 Star

    10) Air Crew Europe Star Bar France and Germany

    11) 1939-1945 Defence Medal

    12) 1939-1945 War Medal.
