    Hi,
i found those for sale and i would like to know your opinion about it.
    - 5th Kresowa Infantry Division cloth patch
    - 8th Army Shield
    - Polish Cap Eagle embroided
Looks good to me, but i'm not an expert on polish militaria.
I only have some montecassino battle related items.

    So, what do you think???

    Hi Fabio,

A cautious thumbs up on the 5KDP. Cautious not because of any noticeable problems but rather because it is unusual and uncommon. It is possibly a post war made piece for vets.

The 8th Army shield and cap eagle are genuine, no problems there.

    Regards,
    Tony

I never saw a 5KDP embroided.... just in "plastic" or some kind of "rubber"
(is difficult to describe because i never had one in my hand). Those i think are genune, am i right?

    Hi again Fabio,

The most common 5KDP uniform insignia is in fact a cloth type that was made in Palestine. The plastic type you’re referring to were made in Italy within the ranks of the 2nd Corps from a stock of celluloid plastic discovered in a harmonica factory liberated by the Poles. I’ll post pictures of both types later.

Again, the 5KDP insignia you pictured above is possibly a post war made piece for veterans. It is similar to others I have seen (and one that I have) that are supposedly genuine. But I cannot be absolutely certain. Hopefully someone knowledgeable on this specific insignia will chime in to set the record straight for us.

    Regards,
    Tony

    Nice period photo.
I always liked to see how this kind of items (medals, ribbons, patches, etc) were used.
And the best way is through period pictures of soldiers in their uniforms.
    Thanks, again!
    Very helpful.
    Regards,

    Fabio
