    That third photo how the hell did they fly that back and land must have been a real windy flight back ,just shows the skill of the pilots back then

    Not only the old guys - this Israeli F-15 landing without a wing is one of the most outstanding feats of airmanship ever IMO

    Amazing landing by this pilot..... Could save a lot of money here producing aircraft with one wing!!!. I see an opening in the market here.. lol. Cheers Terry.

    The B-17 in Thanatos's thread, if I remember correctly, did not make it back. If you look closely, the whole cockpit, incl. pilot and co-pilot, were blown off. Danny

    Great photo Look at the way he is trimmed. Looks like he still had decent control of the aircraft as the control surfaces are not maxed out.
