    I agree!!! I have spent the last 3 hours digging through my books, and I had it narrowed down to three but having 2 seats/ extended cockpit pushed those Ideas out. It was just down to the "Texan" which is a perfect match expect for the dang tail. So I finally just accepted that he must of modified the tail for some reason.

    Hey Guys its a Nang Chang a Chineese Trainer (yak52) with Stars and Bars Painted on it.

    Hi Studly, I guess it could be a Yak, but the tail is still wrong or modified. Oh well, still cool sighting. Especially that close.

    It s a foriegn type Yak 52 trainer, one of the aviation magazines just did an article on them, lots of photos of them in all sorts of markings , but most definately NOT a T-6.

    "Take it away ! You can have it if you just get it out of here.................!"

    Interesting plane. Kind of reminds me of a 'AT-6' too, (up here they
    were called 'Harvard') Not an AT-6 but it should be fairly easy to identify.
