    There are around 250 examples still flying, according to Wiki.

    Another interesting article on the Moths (light bomber version) in planned, but cancelled "Operation Banquet"

    These tiny guys can hold some bombs (180 kg) !

    Interesting read Taka, I am glad for the pilots that they cancelled this plan, stupidity in the highest, but then again it was our "darkest hour" and we were only left with the kitchen sink to throw at the Third Reich! Leon.

    Glad Nick your back safe and sound and had a great day and all,certainly something that stays with you forever.a bit of history,some 7'000 were built in Britain about 4'000 went to the RAF as the commonwealth principal 2 seater trainer.about half of them were built at the Cowley plant oxford by Morris Motors,the one i flew in was one of these models..............
