The Royal Airforce was there at the beginning, the middle and the end. They made do with fewer resources yet managed to keep the Luftwaffe at bay at arguably their most efficient and strongest point in history during the Battle of Britain.

Their bombers took the war to the heart of Germany, their fighters defended our skies at a fraction of the size of the U.S.A.A.F. for example.

The biggest no, the best yes.

Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

but in the end they put them in theres as well
we see the same thing with the appache helecopter
the brits put a rolls royce engine in it ,,much upset from the americans
and now they are thinking about puting the same in there machines
you cant beet a good rolls engine
the merlin was a country saver it helped ,,besides the brave pilots ,,to make the RAF the best airforce in the world

As long as the quality is alright, and you have massive amount of quantity. That what matters, US and Soviets showed that. Just as people say IMO.

I ran with the US due to the fact United States airpower was a war winner on all fronts land and sea.
The shear size of US airpower and the quality of American aircrews changed the coarse of the war after 1941.
Good equipment, good men, good tactic's.The Pacific war may have been a different animal if not for the dominance of US airpower.I weighed USN into the bigger picture.

I believe US as said above they fought in pretty much all theaters produced alot and supplied a good number of the planes and supplies that the British used. Yes they took higher casualties but they were also the ones that took up the task of the daytime bombing raids which I think is pure insanity. IMHO
