    It looks that way,And I think the trim tab was obmitted at some stage.

    That is neat- it'd be a variant of the one in the plan, and the photo in the book, but it sure looks like the right piece; I'd be really surprised if any other aircraft just happened to have the exact same shape, including the attachment points. It's an elevon that acted as an aileron, elevator and flap- that's probably why the odd sectional shape. But it's a relic, and not even of a true combat aircraft since none ever flew in action- the price is excessive to be sure.
    Ohhhhh- pillage then burn...
