I only have BF109e details for the wheel,..
Spornrad 290 x 110 (EC) part 8-2207 A-3
Spornrad 290 x 110 (Kronprinz) part 8-3515 B-2
..they mostly used a Continental tyre .
Fw190s had a slighter larger wheel ..but I cannot find my reference!
If the tyre is larger ,let me know as I may have details.
Nice Item.

OK...380 X 150.....Do17e....Me 110c
...One for each perhaps...
Regards Mike
They're not from a '109 for sure- the G model used the largest tailwheel and that was 350 x 135. The 380 x 150 was used on the BV141, BV155, FW190, Ta152, Hs126, Hs129, Ju86, Bf110C (only), and the Si204 (as listed in German Aircraft Landing Gear by Günther Sengfelder), so there are a lot of possibilities- although simple numbers would probably rule out the older ones and those produced in only small numbers. The hub style is consistent with that of the FW190, which is the only one on that list I have a good photo of, and since that bird was produced in an infinitely larger number than any of the others, statistically I'd think it's the most likely candidate.
Now is it just an illusion or are the tires slightly different sizes?
Ohhhhh- pillage then burn...
hi Matt,
thanks for your reply with all this fine info, both wheels are same sizes.
I have found this number on a plate on the wheel :gerate nr 8-2203m-? if that could help.
I have tried search this number on the net but no luck
regards mich
Well since it was a 'standard' size wheel used by so many aircraft, the equipment number wouldn't be specific for one over another unless there was a significant design difference in the tail wheel bits. Many aircraft components were nonspecific so there's no way to say just what kind of aircraft they were from.
Ohhhhh- pillage then burn...
thanks Matt, for all the work you put into these wheels.
Well now I know that I have 2 german standard wheels.
regards mich
