Default Incredible US AH-64 Apache crash-No serious injuries.

Here's some amazing footage of a US AH-64 Apache crashing at a US base in Afghanistan. Everyone survived which is suprising when you see what occurs, the groundcrewman that it nearly crashes on was especially fortunate.

The crew were able to walk away from it, straight into the CO's office for a debrief sans tea and biscuits (probably).

The Apache was specifically designed to be survivable in a serious crash-and that certainly proves it!

    OUCH!
I had the opportunity to examine the Westland WAH-64D Apache (AH1 according to the MOD) up close in Astan.
A VERY impressive machine ... and very popular amongst the troops (although chain gun fire have come close a few times)

Not as bad as the USAF type who tried to barrel roll a B52 at 6ft above the ground a few years back-that ended very badly...
