To be indentified airplane propeller blade from wwII
Hi all, I would appreciate to get some help to identify this blade from WWII airplane. It was found around 1944-45 on the eastern boarder of Finland. Origin Russian. Seems to be metal (quite heavy) and the surface is rough, like sand paper. Could anybody say what kind of a plane it is from?

You really are going to need some serial numbers to get a positive I.D. Try and see if there are any on the bottom of the hub end.

This propeller would be made of high tensile aluminum. The reason it feels rough is from oxidation. As the aluminum oxidizes it creates pits. Sometimes obvious to the naked eye, and most other times under magnification. This isn't the aluminum you get when you get a can of pop (soda), its quality is 100x better in composition than normal aluminum.
