    I was trying to make a list of the tail markings of Japanese planes at Pearl Harbour and after the Midway battle,when they had to make a slight re-arranging of things. This is what I think is correct,any other info or corrections is appreciated.
    Akagi...AI-101 (representative number)
    Kaga...AII
    Soryu...BI
    Hiryu...BII
    Hosho...CI
    Zuiho...CII

    After Midway

    Here`s a pic of the tail marking of a plane from the carrier Ryuho which was used in the diversionary attack while the Midway battle was in progress.

    I have found pictures of all the first group except for the ,CI and CII,does anyone have any pictures of those?

    I wish I had the time to do this kind of research Zwerge. It's really interesting to study the different operational schemes. Always fun to take a closer look at things.
