I dont think he wanted to do it that way , as Harry Enfield would say, thats more than reckless, its almost suicidal, one little hiccup, one little twitch, and its goodnight Vienna, i daresay he may have been grounded for a while after that

at mac 1.5 at 50 ft across the desert

There's lots of videos of low flying. Ray Hanna was the master though. That's a classic video. I have indulged myself on occasion. But never that low. Recently I caught out the guys by approaching from behind the hangar. They never saw me coming, apparently the reaction was similar to DeCadenet's. I think there's a video but in deference to my licence and job. It won't be appearing on Youtube just yet!

The Argie in the first clip was an irresponsible fool.
Lowest ever flypast? Its a record that can never be beaten. 1000s of dead pilots will testify to that.......
