German or Allied?
Found in North Germany.

The external colour looks German to me. No idea what aircraft it could be from.

Yeah, it looks to me too like the colouring could be German. I've had a look through the good detail photo and diagram books I have (Japanese model books are brilliant for extreme detail LOL), and seem to have ruled out the Bf109, FW190, Me262, Ju87, Me163B and He162B- none of them have a rectangular access panel of that particular shape with that very distinctive reinforcing plate. How big is the sheet exactly? That might help at least suggest another possibility...
