I was at a car show / air show yesterday when the B-25 bomber "Miss Mitchell"
flew in. I was able to get a couple pictures as it sat on the runway. I tied to
get some as it flew in but my camera was not up to the task.

What a great aircraft. Years ago I had the pleasure of climbing into the cockpit of Yankee Warrior at the WWII weekend in Reading, PA.

Those big Radials have a sound all of their own.
It did a low, slow speed fly by before landing. It was great seeing and hearing it
pass by at tree top level.

That sounds like a great experience. They were letting people look
up into the fuselage from the rear hatch but the line was longer than
    I wanted to wait.

I don't mean to hijack your thread but I found a few pics of the cockpit and the top turret gun and also the bomb bay door from another B25 on the tarmac

I was surprised that for a small donation they let me and my son both climb in and take pictures. Maybe things have changed since 2005.
