    Hi, Frenchy:

Gyrocompass from a Sabre fighter, an early jet, in service from 1949 to 1994 (in Bolivian air force).

Gyrocompass was non-magnetic and so could be used in the Arctic, unlike the old-fashioned magnetic variety.

As this is post-Korean War, it would be worth less than wartime item, but it's still interesting and there are collectors out there.

    Good luck with it.

    Pat
